The David Sanborn Master Series Alto Saxophone metal mouthpiece is an exact replica of the mouthpiece that Sanborn had commissioned Aaron Drake to make back in 2014. Sanborn still place on that mouthpiece exclusively to this day. The mouthpiece was born from the collaborative minds of Sanborn and Drake with the reference of some of David's favorite vintage mouthpieces he has played on and collected throughout the years. The result is truly a masterpiece that is helping to write the next chapter of David Sanborn's sound and can also do the same for you.

The entirety of the mouthpiece is meticulously hand worked and finished to exacting standards. This Master Series alto mouthpiece features a three tiered baffle with a medium Venturi chamber. This combination give an alto saxophone player an immediate response with precise attack and just the right amount of resistance. The exceptionally free blowing mouthpiece offers a deep, rich tone color, a complete range of dynamics through the range of the instrument, impeccable intonation, powerful projection, and a lush core of sound.
