The Vandoren Optimum series of saxophone mouthpieces is designed to be more free blowing and responsive. This baritone sax mouthpiece gives you accurate articulation and total control at all dynamic ranges with precise intonation.

These mouthpieces are available in three different facings, the BL3, BL4, and BL5. The BL3 most closely resembles a C* facing and is perfect for students from beginner to intermediate and into advanced. It is characterized by roundness, depth, and precision. The BL4 is a little more open than the BL3 with a richer timbre. The BL5 is the largest of the three and offers a player a very large and round sound.
