Vintage Martin D-37K 1983 - Natural
We got a good deal here for someone who likes 'em worn in! This 1983 D-37K has been through a lot over the last 40+ years, and while it is far from mint, it still plays and sounds great. This is from Martin's 150th anniversary, and is stamped as such on the inside. Electronics have been added, but the current owner was unsure of what system is in there. It is possible that this guitar was resprayed at some point, but it would have had to have been many years ago. Most of the damage on this instrument is cosmetic and we did our best to photograph all the dings, dents and gouges. There is a crack that goes through the wood along the edge of the pickguard, a crack that goes from the base of the fretboard to about the 15th fret, a surface level crack along the center seam in the back, and some binding separation. There was a repaired crack along the bridge, the bridge was shaved down and a support dowel was added on the bass side. While the guitar is not at risking of falling apart, it could absolutely use some repairs. This guitar is an excellent deal for someone with repair experience and looking for a unique Martin. A non-original hardshell case is included.
