DR Fat-Beams are compression wound electric bass string set. The compression winding delivers fat mids, bright highs, and a sound that is distinctly edge.
Fat-Beams are handmade in the USA using only the finest American stainless steel in production. The stainless is then wound on round cores for a higher level of flexibility and tone. The hand-making process is completed by DR's expert string-makers who are capable of making minute adjustments throughout the winding process to achieve best sound and feel possible for your instrument.
