Yamaha YVN Model 3 Student Violin

Winner of the NAMM Best in Show and the product result after 10 years of research and development, the YVN Model 3 is a fantastic violin for any beginning player. It is made of a unique 3-layer graduated spruce wood press top. Its back is made of 2 layers of maple with a spruce core. These manufacturing techniques are able to produce 3 violins with same amount of wood it normally takes to produce one making the YVN Model 3 every environmentally friendly and conscientious.

This manufacturing process does in no way sacrifice the integrity of sound or durability of the instrument. The Model 3 features precision-cut tolerances for structural integrity. It also has laser cut purfling. Yamaha has also given the wood a resin inlay for an even greater level of durability. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and the pegs are an ebony-resin blend.

The Yamaha YVN Model 3 comes with a ABS hard case and an upgraded Glasser fiber glass bow. It is currently only available in a full 4/4 size
