Vic Firth Pesante Series - Soft, Yarn Marimba Mallets

Vic Firth set out to create a line of marimba and vibraphone mallets that play with weight and emphasis, just like the musical term Pesante and the lines’ namesake. They are made out a thick yarn or cord that minimizes attack and produced a dark, bold sound with beautiful projection and sonority.

The M201 model has a soft yarn beater for little attack and a low register voicing that projects well.
