Vic Firth Artist Robert van Sice is respected internationally throughout the percussion community as both a performer and educator. His signature mallets for marimba are hand wound in a specific unique way that virtually eliminated the sound of bar contact. Each pair’s handles are 17” maple that provide excellent feel and control especially at extended intervals. They available with both rubber cores for mono-tones, and synthetic cores for multi-tones. 

 The Medium strength is the most popular model in the series. They are able to cover the entire range off the marimba with a sound that sings full of life.
