A lighter gauged strings, Ernie Ball Super Slinky electric guitar strings are used by Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Angus Young, and many other artists. These strings are manufactured to the highest levels of precision and most exacting specifications to ensure consistency, optimum performance, and longevity. Super Slinky's wound strings are made with a nickel plated steel wire wrapped around a hex shaped steel core wire. The plain strings are made from a specially tempered tin plated high carbon steel that produces a well balanced tone for any guitar.
