The NY Legacy hard rubber alto saxophone mouthpiece from Marantz Customer Mouthpieces is crafted from the finest Germany hard rubber available. The mouthpiece is meticulously modeled after a vintage NY Meyer USA hard rubber mouthpiece that many greats such as Cannonball Adderley, Phil Woods, and of course Charlie Parker, would have played. Just like the Meyer that it is modeled after, the NY Legacy has finely scooped scooped sidewalls and an expertly hand-finished rollover baffle. The mouthpiece is remarkably responsive and produces a tonality that is truly inspiring.
