The SeleS Prologue mouthpiece for alto saxophone was created and designed by the Henri Selmer Paris Company in France. The Prologue is an easy to play mouthpiece with an emission and response is second to none in all ranges of the saxophone. This makes the Prologue a great choice for beginner and advancing saxophonists.
After extensive testing, Selmer Paris decided on a thermoplastic polymer (TPE) to use a the material to make the SeleS Prologue. The TPE offers outstanding acoustic qualities, similar to the hard rubber used in the production of other models of Henri Selmer Paris saxophone mouthpiece. This material also allows SeleS to keep manufacturing both consist and have cost down mouthpiece to mouthpiece.
The SeleS Prologue mouthpiece also includes a ligature and cap. It also has a 1.55mm tip opening and a square chamber.
