Thomastik-Infeld's Jazz Swing strings are the legendary flatwound strings for jazz guitar. The historic list of its players who have played on Jazz Swings reads like a Jazz Hall of Fame. Even now they are still the undisputed king of flatwounds for many of today’s jazz greats. Jazz Swing strings are truly a flatwound set (not ground wound or compressed wound) with glassy smooth polished nickel winding on a round core. The plain/unwound strings are brass plated.
