John Mapes is a 29 time medalist in WGI as a marching percussion designer. In the world of DCI, Mapes is the battery arranger for the Blue Stars. He is a long time Vic Firth artist. His signature Corpsmaster tenor sticks are built with a disc shaped hickory time that increases both durability and surface area for a large lasting sound. It’s elongated taper and extra length provide comfort, reach, and extra rebound.
