The Yamaha Custom EX Soprano Saxophone features a specially formulated brass alloy body paired with an advanced and improved neck design to give a player superior projection, intonation, an response. A one-piece rib construction and improved key levers produce quick, responsive key movements. The instrument is topped off with a gold lacquer finish on the body and keys, an hand engraved bell, and mother of pearl key buttons.

The YSS-875EXHG also features a hand-hammered, one-piece body. It both high F# and high G keys, and it comes with two detachable Yamaha G2 necks - one straight and one curved.
